Volumes - New Song + New Album 9 June 2017

Los Angeles, CA's heavy rock five-piece Volumes has released a new song, titled "Waves Control," from their forthcoming Fearless Records debut Different Animals, set to release June 9.

Check out VOLUMES "WAVES CONTROL" HERE.

Volumes will kick off a North American summer tour as support to Born Of Osiris on June 23. Full tour dates listed below. The band has already had a busy year, having been on the road with Born Of Osiris for The New Reign Part I Tour, headlining multiple shows across the U.S., and making stops at some of rock's biggest festivals including Welcome To Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, and Northern Invasion.

VOLUMES - If Volumes can be defined by two things, it's a commitment to heavy, dynamic music...and confidence. The Los Angeles-based metalcore quintet, rounded out by Myke Terry [vocals], Gus Farias [vocals], Diego Farias [guitar], Raad Soudani [bass] and Nick Ursich [drums], are ready to take on the world. After parting ways with former vocalist Michael Barr, the band welcomed former Bury Your Dead vocalist Myke Terry into the fold, who brings a fresh twist into the mix with his high-energy and vibrant charisma. Having always been a standout in their genre for having two dynamic vocalists, utilizing different ranges of singing and screaming to create a layered and volatile sound, Volumes is ready to embark on the next chapter - building on their finesse for creating a unique fusion between intricate patterns, melodies and aggressive metal. The upcoming release, Different Animals, produced by Brandon Paddock (Set It Off, Palisades, Black Veil Brides), was named one of Alternative Press' "Most Anticipated Albums of 2017" and early singles have already received praise from Rock Sound, Metal Injection and more.

RIVRS Reveal 'Man of my Dreams'

RIVRS are back today to reveal their new single ‘Man of My Dreams’ from their anticipated new mixtape ‘The Berlin Mixtape’ coming next week.

Hot off the heels of banger ‘Bad Karma’, RIVRS say on their new single, ‘Man of My Dreams was something we wrote in Berlin on a keyboard in a flat we were staying in owned by an opera singer. It’s about thinking you've found a guy that’s perfect for you but for one reason or another you don't think you can be enough for them.”

From their first track 'Last Love' being picked up and licensed to cool French record label, Kitsuné to then getting asked by Charli XCX to remix her smash ‘Famous’ which has since gone on to receive over 500,000 streams on Soundcloud! Following from this Charli XCX signed their next track ‘Friend Lover’ to be one of the debut releases on her new record label ‘Vroom Vroom Recordings’! The track featured on the Spotify’s Top 50 Viral Chart both in the UK & US & their Hit New Music Playlist & Apple Music’s Best New Music playlists.

Their career so far has been filled with brilliant moments having supported Chromeo, Honne, Marina & The Diamonds, been the main support for Foxes and Clean Bandit on their last tour. They’ve supported Florence & The Machine at British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park and most recently, performed at Annie Mac Presents: Collected in April.

This is definitely an exciting time to for RIVRS and we cannot wait to see where they take us next.

RADAR STATE Reveals "Spinning Wheel"

“This band is about getting back to a time when there was no pressure involved in making music,” explains vocalist and guitarist Jim Suptic, “just friends having a beer or two, hanging out in the garage, and making music that’s really fun to play. That’s the genesis of this band.” RADAR STATE has an impressive indie rock pedigree that includes Matt Pryor (The Get Up Kids, The New Amsterdams), Jim Suptic (The Get Up Kids, Blackpool Lights), Adam Phillips (The Architects, The Gadjits), and Josh Berwanger (The Anniversary, Berwanger). It’s unsurprising that their sound is guitar-driven and hook-laden, reminiscent of vintage Lookout Records pop-punk.

Their debut 7” is slated for a September 2017 release. The band just unveiled the inaugural track “Spinning Wheel”. It hits every highlight a music lover could want. Kicking off with a dual guitar attack, the track features Suptic on lead vocals singing about being "lost and lonely", with a palpable sense of yearning. It's emphatically backed as Berwanger and Pryor join in on the chorus. "The hardest part / Is knowing where to start / We're pickin' up the pieces together" are lyrics only too appropriate for these times and can just as easily be heard as a plaintive cry for togetherness in a divisive world as being about a broken relationship. Listen to it here:

RADAR STATE is Matt Pryor (vocals, bass), Jim Suptic (vocals, guitar), Adam Phillips (drums), and Josh Berwanger (vocals, guitar). Their debut 7” will be released September 2017.
