MARIE MILLER Premieres Video for Glitter Gold

Folky, indie pop singer songwriter, MARIE MILLER has just premiered the music video for her track "Glitter Gold" on AXS. The video guides you through the songs wholehearted lyrics while coupling the tune with scenery and weather to set the mood.

"Glitter Gold" is the 5th track of Miller's most recent album, Letterbox, which Billboard joyfully likened to “a combination of Shania Twain and Sara Bareilles.” The album takes Miller’s dynamic voice and dives into narrative songwriting that speaks of the vulnerable and empowered sides of relationships and interactions. These passionate vocals and personal stories are delivered on the strength of fuller, larger musical arrangements with an increased emphasis on folky, indie-infused piano pop musicianship.

On Letterbox, Marie set out to make a deeply personal expression that extended out of her comfort zone. She told Blurred Culture: “It’s called Letterbox because the songs are basically letters to people... Basically, all of the songs are things that I’ve wanted to say to someone and I just couldn’t do it… So, I wrote a song about it. This album [is] my letterbox. My letters to people.”

From her upbringings with nine siblings on a vineyard in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, Marie has achieved considerable accomplishments, including signing to Curb Records at the age of 16 and winning 2014 Macy’s iHeart Rising Star Competition. Marie’s music has reached countless people in recent years, having performed in front of Pope Francis and 750,000 people at 2015’s Festival of the Families in Philadelphia and having her song “6’2”” played on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Marie has released two EP’s, Marie Miller (2006), and You’re Not Alone (2013), toured the country, and risen significantly in radio charts. Marie’s 2013 single “You’re Not Alone” charted at #1 on Billboard Christian Hot AC/CHR Charts and reached 115,000 downloads on Amazon’s Rising Star Program.

Marie’s musical origins were the product of the writings of Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy and Homer, mixed with her quick learning of guitar and mandolin. Such influence of both artistic, literary, and instrumental considerations has translated to a well-crafted combination of wits, emotion, storytelling, and musicality that makes Letterbox a perfect reflection of the special kind of pop that Marie has passionately crafted.

About NEW VOLUME: New Volume create alternative rock that can make you think or make you move. The South Africa-born and London-based trio - Tyron Layley (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Ryan Morris (Lead Guitar, Vocals) and Adam Jenkins (Drums) - find soul within electronic-tinged soundscapes on their full-length debut album, Envy (Sumerian Records). In fact, the robust and rich nature of the sound belies the fact there’s only three band members. High school friends, the boys traded South Africa for London together, setting their sights on realizing a lifelong collective musical dream. In 2013, they formed New Volume equally indebted to soul and blues as eighties Depeche Mode. Independently, they toured throughout the UK and Europe with the likes of Anberlin and Young Guns even achieving #1 radio success in countries such as Poland.

RADIO MOSCOW announce new album 'New Beginnings'

Southern Californian rock trio RADIO MOSCOW are currently putting finishing touches to their much anticipated fifth studio album, “New Beginnings”, which is set for release via Century Media Records on September 29th, 2017. Right on time with release of their new opus, the band has confirmed the “The Drifting Tour”, which will drown Europe from September 26th to October 31st in waves of fuzzy, hard rocking riffs and sweaty, cranked up blues!

Formed in 2003, the power trio led by Stratocaster genius Parker Griggs carved their own sonic niche fusing crunching, heavy Sabbath-style chords with fiery ‘Hendrixian’ solos and a raw intensity that is addictive and captivating. From the self-titled debut back in 2007, which was produced by Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, over to last year’s “Live! In California”, RADIO MOSCOW proved to be not just a cheap time machine but a direct descendant from the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll!

Known as a tremendous live act, Parker Griggs (vocals, guitar), Anthony Meier (bass) and Paul Marrone (drums) have hit the road hard in the U.S. and in Europe in past years, touring with the likes of Graveyard, Witchcraft, Joe Bonamassa and Pentagram as well as playing festivals such as Desert Daze (US), the Void Fest (Ger), Electric Funeral (US), Burg Herzberg Fest (Ger), and the Orbital Festival in Santiago, Chile, to name but a few.

Now, RADIO MOSCOW are gearing up for an exciting new chapter in their career with the release of “New Beginnings” and have kicked off another massive touring cycle with a US mini-tour, selected European festivals in August, and a full European tour in September/October. Even more chances to see the band live are currently in the works!
